In a very bizarre case, a South Carolina neo-nazi skinhead, Jeremy Moody, and his wife, Christine, were arrested and charged with murder for randomly targeting and killing a registered sex offender, Charles Parker, and his wife. Moody and his wife were part of an online skinhead group called “Crew 41.” Moody is the author of a manifesto/rant that states that sex offenders AND THEIR ENTIRE FAMILIES should be murdered to keep the gene pool clean.

According to Union County Sheriff David Taylor, Jeremy Moody confessed to the crime and told investigators they arrested him just in time:
“He planned to kill another sex offender on the register today.”
Moody only knew 59-year-old Charles Parker, an auto mechanic, slightly. He came to Parker’s Jonesville home on a Sunday in July with plans to kill him, Taylor explained. Surveillance cameras outside Parker’s home showed Moody and his wife driving up to the property and popping the hood on their car as if it needed work. Based on the surveillance, the Moodys and the Parkers spoke for about 10 minutes. Then the two couples went inside the house. Based on the videotape, Moody and his wife appear to be carrying weapons.
“He planned to kill this individual last year, but chickened out,” said Sheriff Taylor. “But on Sunday, he decided he was going to kill him.”
Moody told the sheriff that he told Charles Parker:
“You think I’m here to rob you. I’m not here to rob you. I’m here to kill you because you are a child molester.”
Charles Parker and his 51-year-old wife, Gretchen, were both shot and stabbed. Taylor said Gretchen Parker wasn’t specifically targeted, but was killed because she was in the house.
The bodies were discovered the day after the crime when one of Parker’s customers drove to his house to have his car repaired. He saw that the front door was wide open and called the police. A deputy arrived and found the bodies, but investigators had to wait more than an hour to begin examining the crime scene because several Chihuahuas threatened emergency workers. Animal control officers had to be called. After they removed 18 dogs, several cats and a half-dozen chickens, the investigators were able to approach the victims and discovered that both of them were dead.
Charles Parker’s sex offender status was based on his conviction for third-degree criminal sexual conduct about a decade ago. Details of that case were not immediately available.
Sheriff Taylor said Parker always registered on time and never gave deputies trouble. Relatives of the slain couple were devastated to hear why their loved ones were killed.
“I ask that you give this family the opportunity to (grieve) and pull their thoughts together,” the sheriff said.
Moody has “skinhead” tattooed across his neck, and according to Taylor, he hinted that he may have been involved in other hate crimes.

In the weeks since the double murder, it has been revealed that both Moody and his wife Christine were active neo-nazis. In their online postings, they frequently adopted the last name of “Mengele”. Josef Mengele was the infamous Nazi doctor who performed medical experiments at Auschwitz and sent many thousands of women and children — mostly of Jewish ethnicity — to the gas chambers.
Ironically, the head of Colorado’s chapter of Crew 41, the group Moody belonged to, IS A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER.
